On Friday, February 26th we will be hosting FACIL, an advocacy organisation that promotes software freedom and open formats, for our next 5@7. FACIL will be filling us in on the initiatives underway to promote the adoption of Free, Libre and Open Source Software (FLOSS): the status of FLOSS within the government of Quebec, ACTA, tou.tv. Please join us for a stimulating and fun
discussion about making inroads for free software in traditionally closed-source environments.

Our offices are located at 6833 de l'Épée, suite #308, just a short walk
from l'Acadie metro station. Please drop by at any time after 5pm to

Koumbit is a Montreal-based non-profit organisation established in 2004
whose primary activity consists of developing and hosting web sites for
other non-profits, as well as helping them appropriate emerging
information technology tools. Its founding principles are based onKoumbit
participatory economics, social justice and free/open source software.

Vendredi le 26 février, pour notre prochain 5 à 7, nous accueillons
FACIL, une association vouée à la promotion de
l'informatique libre. FACIL nous exposera les initiatives en cours pour
promouvoir l'adoption des logiciels libres au Québec: la situation du
logiciel libre dans l'administration publique québécoise, ACTA, tou.tv.
Venez prendre part à un échange convivial et stimulant sur les
stratégies en cours pour continuer à élargir la place des logiciels
libres dans ces environnements jadis dominés par les solutions
propriétaires fermées.

Nos bureaux se trouvent au 6833 de l'Épée, local 308, à quelques rues du
